The Tettuccio spa represents Montecatini for its splendor, beauty and grandeur, and is considered one of the most beautiful spas in Europe thanks also to its beautiful travertine facade, taken from the nearby quarries of Monsummano Terme.
Inside, the Liberty style, typical of the early twentieth century, prevails, in addition to the fusion of architectural themes deriving from the ancient Greeks.

What characterizes the center is the water that flows from its fountain, which is located at the entrance and flows into the large basin.

The allegorical symbols such as the shell, the wave, the seahorse, the fish scales and the two powerful alligators in cast bronze represent, in an allegorical key, Fertility and Strength, but they also want to remember that once the Baths of Montecatini were surrounded by marshes, which were reclaimed and from which the spa was discovered.

One of the halls that fascinates for its architecture and materials used is certainly the Portuguese Hall, built entirely of laminated wood in the shape of a branched tree.
Everything is immersed in an extraordinary park, which envelops the Tettuccio and makes it a pearl in its shell.

At the top on the right are the Terme Regina, a small building in travertine and marble where once there was the water supply and related services.
