Uzzano
Uzzano is a unique gem in the Valdinievole area with a charm that resists time and it is in its castle that many remains of the past are preserved. The village also has beautiful churches in which there is a Romanesque font, a wooden crucifix and a 16th century statue attributed to Giovanni Della Robbia.

The medieval old town is perched on a hill and ancient part of the village still preserves its castle which looks over the whole valley. Uzzano is also remembered for the love that Giacomo Puccini had for this territory, so much that he decided to spend a few months here, during which, particularly inspired, he composed the second and third acts of the Bohème.
