Inaugurated to the public in 1981, the Library moved in 2019 to the Palazzo Comunale of Borgo a Buggiano, in the suggestive setting of the cloister.

The Library also houses the Municipal Historical Archive, organized by sections: pre-unification section, post-unification section, section of the Pio Istituto Carozzi Sannini.
The Archive can be visited by reservation, assisted by qualified personnel.

Nel mese di novembre ci confronteremo su «L'abbazia di Northanger» di Jane Austen: una lettura che ben si sposa con l'atmosfera autunnale e che, tra illusione e realtà, strizza un po' l'occhio al romanzo gotico [chissà, in positivo o in negativo?].
Vi aspettiamo dunque in biblioteca per raccogliere le vostre impressioni e condividere nuovi spunti di riflessione e di crescita

Our library is at the forefront for everyone, and for all ages: for this reason we have set up various child-friendly spaces in our premises, in particular a breastfeeding chair and a changing table for the very young.
