Sabato 5 settembre, alle ore 17.30, nella Chiesa di San Giorgio a Porciano, un nuovo appuntamento dedicato alla conoscenza e alla valorizzazione del patrimonio storico e artistico del nostro territorio.
Interverrà Paolo Benassai, della Fondazione Roberto Longhi di Firenze, con un incontro dedicato al patrimonio artistico custodito nella Chiesa di San Giorgio a Porciano.
Un'occasione per conoscere più da vicino la storia, l'arte e le bellezze del nostro territorio.

L'iniziativa è organizzata dalla Pro Loco Porciano, con il patrocinio del Comune di Lamporecchio.

The church of San Giorgio is a beautiful religious structure that overlooks the entire valley. Its history is very ancient: it dates back to the 13th century, and since then numerous renovations have taken place over time,

The church is evocative but small and intimate and has a single nave inside, with the presbytery delimited by a low and elegant stone balustrade and the apse with a quadrangular plan.
