Laboratorio per bambini in Biblioteca
Il laboratorio ha l'obiettivo di far conoscere ai bambini le caratteristiche del materiale terra attraverso attività ludiche che coinvolgono i sensi (vista, tatto e olfatto) e semplici manipolazioni del materiale nei suoi vari stadi: secco, umido, plastico, viscoso e liquido.

Attraverso l'osservazione e l'esperienza diretta, i bambini impareranno a distinguere una terra argillosa da una terra sabbiosa, comprendendone le differenti proprietà e i possibili utilizzi.
L'attività si concluderà con la realizzazione, in piccola scala, di una casetta in terra, da costruire singolarmente o in gruppo, stimolando la creatività e l'espressione personale.

In particular, the Municipal Library operates as a local information center. It participates in the activities and initiatives of the Documentary Network of the Province of Pistoia (REDOP) and creates forms of collaboration and cooperation with other Bodies, Libraries, Archives and Cultural Institutions present in the area.
The Montecatini Terme library's collection consists of approximately 79,000 documents. The children's section includes approximately 4,000 volumes, the children's section approximately 3,500, and the newspaper library contains approximately 120 periodicals and 9 daily newspapers.
