Un bambino indossa delle grandissime ali da farfalla ed esce di casa: si lascia portare dal vento facendo giri e volteggi, salti e piroette almeno finché gli altri bambini non lo prendono in giro e calpestano le sue ali sgargianti. Grazie al sostegno del papà, però, il piccolo riscopre la gioia di essere ciò che vuole e impara a librarsi in volo, oltre i pregiudizi.
