Sabato 13 settembre alle ore 16:00 presso il Palazzo Pretorio di Buggiano Castello inaugurata la mostra 'Disegno e rilevo di Piazza Pretorio'. Sará poi visitabile tutte le domeniche fino al 26 ottobre.
Il disegno in Architettura al tempo della China, ossia quando non c'era Internet, nessuno usava il Computer e tutto era realizzato a mano con l'Intelligenza Umana, i disegni realizzati da Elena Bocci nel 1987 per l'esame di Disegno e Rilievo, Facoltà di Architettura di Firenze.
La mostra è organizzata dall'Associazione Culturale Buggiano Castello, Officina il Mulino e con il Patrocino del Comune di Buggiano.

Of extraordinary beauty, it remains among the best preserved and most representative medieval civil architectures of the whole Valdinievole.

On the ground floor there were rooms decorated with frescoes.

In the basement there are visible terracotta vaults, probably the rooms here are the oldest, perhaps of Roman origin.

On the facade, recently restored, there are the 57 coats of arms of the podestà who led the municipality between the 14th and 17th centuries.

On the facade stands out the coat of arms of the municipality which depicts the Ox walking to the left, on which the Florentine Lily is resting.

L'artista Silvio Viola espone le sue opere scultoree e artistiche nella splendida cornice di Palazzo Pretorio, con il tema predominante della Pace.
