L'Assessorato alla Cultura del Comune di Monsummano Terme organizza la presentazione del libro 'LE TRE DOMANDE DELL'ANGELO' di Katia Lari Faccenda.

Un romanzo sui generis che si ispira al passaggio emblematico di Giovanna D'Arco nella storia, la ragazzina che assunse la colpa di due generazioni e la tradusse in un atto volontario di responsabilità: volle agire un futuro ancora da immaginare. Era scandalo il suo essere ragazza in un tempo e luogo restrittivi per le donne, il suo divenire condottiera di uomini, erano scandalo le sue vittorie e i suoi abiti maschili. Scandalo la sua consapevolezza.

The Monsummano Terme Municipal Library was founded in the 1960s at the instigation of the Municipal Administration and some volunteers.

It developed above all as a reading and book lending center for a population in continuous demographic expansion, maintaining even today the characteristics of a place of aggregation and cultural and educational growth of students and ordinary citizens.

It has recently been building up an increasingly rich section of local history.

Overall, the heritage exceeds 44,000 volumes. It has a section dedicated to children and a small newspaper library appreciated by citizens. The headquarters are in the rooms on the ground floor of the ancient Osteria dei Pellegrini, adjacent to those that house, on the second floor of the same historic building, the Historical Archive.

The Historical Archive has long had a paper inventory for the part before the unification of Italy, while for the post-unification part there is a good computerized inventory on this site of 7502 records corresponding to as many archival news.

La lettura è un momento importantissimo di condivisone tra genitore e bambino per questo la biblioteca promuove giornate dedicate ai bambini di varie fasce d'età accompagnati da papà o mamma.

si terranno attività di lettura dal titolo 'Un giallo da risolvere' rivolto a ragazze e ragazzi da 10 a 13 anni, al Parco comunale Aldo Moro a Monsummano Terme, a cura della bibliotecaria Simona.

17 giugno
Presso il parco comunale Piazza Aldo Moro letture per ragazzi dai 10 ai 13 anni a cura della bibliotecaria Simona.

Giovedì 19 giugno 2025, alle ore 18, presso la Sala Iozzelli della Biblioteca Giuseppe Giusti di Monsummano Terme, presentazione del libro Scomparsa. Un caso riaperto per l'ispettore Carli (PAV Edizioni) di Domenico Maselli, a cura del vice questore della Polizia di Stato Enrico Parrini.
Dialogheranno con l'autore Giuseppe Previti, presidente dell'Associazione Giallo Pistoia, e Maurizio Gori, direttore della rubrica Arteventi News e giornalista TVL.
