Premiazione della seconda edizione del 'Mascherone d'oro'

The seventeenth-century building, originally home of the Medici court gardener who took care of the park of the Medici Villa, has had different functions over the centuries. One of the most evocative is represented by the area where the children of the court used to play on a wooden carousel placed in a large room: into the so-called 'Carousel Room', today seat of the town council, you can still find the stone fulcrum where the ancient carousel rested.

For a long time it was the seat of the primary school of Poggio a Caiano, now, for over 50 years, it is the seat of the Municipality of Poggio a Caiano.
