Temporary residence (1835-1836) of the family of the poet Giosuè Carducci, born in 1835 in Valdicastello (Pietrasanta). At the time, his father was a doctor in the service of the mining company at the French company Boissat, which managed the silver-lead mines in the area of Ruosina and Valdicastello. Carducci, one of the most important Italian poets and men of letters of the nineteenth century, is responsible, among other things, for the return to classical style poetry.
