In occasione dell'International Observe the Moon Night, il Gruppo Astrofili Valdinievole A. Pieri, insieme a UAI (Unione Astrofili Italiani) e CICAP (Comitato Italiano per il Controllo delle Affermazioni sulle Pseudoscienze), vi invita a scoprire la rassegna Stregati dalla Luna.

Una serie di incontri sarà dedicata a sfatare le false credenze legate alla Luna, dall'influenza che si dice abbia sulla nostra vita alle fake news sugli allunaggi.

All'interno del programma, sabato 14 settembre 2024, alle ore 21, presso la Sala Iozzelli della Biblioteca Comunale di Monsummano Terme, con la partecipazione di CICAP Toscana, si terrà una conferenza a tema del professor Massimo Macucci.

A seguire, presso il Parco Orzali in via Luciano Lama (lato Coop), osservazione della Luna.

The Monsummano Terme Municipal Library was founded in the 1960s at the instigation of the Municipal Administration and some volunteers.

The headquarters are in the rooms on the ground floor of the ancient Osteria dei Pellegrini, adjacent to those that house, on the second floor of the same historic building, the Historical Archive.

The Historical Archive has long had a paper inventory for the part before the unification of Italy, while for the post-unification part there is a good computerized inventory on this site of 7502 records corresponding to as many archival news.
