The church of San Martino in Migliano di Camaiore has ancient origins, most likely dating back to the 11th-12th centuries. The oldest official document regarding the church is the first parish register dated 1609 as reported in the questionnaire attached to the report of the 1932 pastoral visit by Archbishop Antonio Torrini. The building, with a rectangular plan with the right side wall adjacent to the bell tower, was blessed again in 1784 following a major renovation and expansion project. As part of these works, the building was lengthened on the side of the presbytery and certainly also raised; the signs of the expansion are still clearly visible on the wall facings. In terms of finishes and decorative apparatus, the current configuration was achieved following a restoration project dated 1931 which involved the insertion of chains, the revision of the roof and the restoration of the interior. The façade features a particular sail-shaped top that is discordant with the morphology of the building, created as part of the restoration work just mentioned.

The flooring is made of white grit tiles with the occasional insertion of black and yellow elements.
