The Viareggio Carnival Museum is a must-see for anyone who wants to explore the unique history and atmosphere of one of Italy's most famous carnivals. Located in the lively coastal town of Viareggio, this museum offers an immersive experience of the Viareggio Carnival, famous for its spectacular floats and festive spirit.

It is a showcase of the long history of this festival, which has deep roots in the cultural fabric of Viareggio. Through chronological displays, archive documents and period objects, the museum tells the story of the local carnival tradition, from its birth to the most recent celebrations.

One of the highlights of the museum are the floats, true masterpieces of temporary art created especially for the Viareggio Carnival. Visitors can admire up close the works of art that have graced the streets of Viareggio during the festivities, capturing the intricate details, vivid colors and mastery of the artists involved in their creation.
