Domenica 4 febbraio alle ore 17.15 presso il teatro della Misericordia di Vinci si terrà lo spettacolo in vernacolo dal titolo 'Matrimonio con il morto' a cura della compagnia teatrale 'Il Pontormo' di Empoli. Lo spettacolo è la prima di una serie di iniziative che la parrocchia di San Donato in Greti ha progettato al fine di raccogliere fondi per la ristrutturazione della chiesa, situata nelle campagne di Vinci e che è chiusa dal 2004 per problemi di inagibilità.

In the center of the village, a few steps from the Leonardo Museum, the Vinci theatre is a place of culture and meeting. After a long period of unavailability, the theater was restored and brought back to the colors and splendor of the early twentieth century theater with the reopening in April 2013, thanks to the commitment of the Municipality. The Theater, overlooking the Garden of Remembrance, is appreciated for its overall eclectic style and Liberty features. With a capacity of 144 seats, an audio and projection system as well as a gallery reserved for the control room, the Vinci theatre is an ideal space for conferences, small conventions and cultural meetings, to be experienced in the evocative atmosphere of Leonardo's hometown.
