This is a magnificent parish church located just outside the town.

It has been a place of worship for a very long time as there is evidence of the presence of an ancient Roman temple there as far back as 200 BC.

From that time only an urn remains, today walled into the walls of the structure.

The church has undergone significant renovations which has led to the loss of the remains of the original church, but this does not take away the beauty that this masterpiece displays.

The complex is also closely linked to the place where it is located, as demonstrated by the facade, made entirely of local Bardiglio marble. Even the bell tower from the end of the 13th century, among the oldest in the area, has a particular sound from its three bells.

The portico, which overlooks the valley below, is very suggestive. Added in the seventeenth century to connect the church to the rectory, it is composed of three elegant round arches in white marble.
