The Museum is the soul of the National Peace Park. Multimedia installations and systems, films and interactive stations allow for in-depth and engaging knowledge of the topics.

The route tells the story of August 12, 1944 and collects the testimonies of the survivors. It places the massacre in the context of the historical events of the Second World War.

Sant'Anna, National Peace Park is a symbolic place of memory for the diffusion of a culture of peace, through initiatives, events, exhibitions, conferences, at national and international level.

The Park extends over the hilly territory surrounding the town, concentrating in the sacred area that, from the church square and the Historical Museum of the Resistance, through the Via Crucis and the surrounding woods, reaches Col di Cava, where the Ossuary Monument is located.

It was founded in 2000, with the aim of keeping alive the historical memory of the tragic events of the summer of 1944 and educating new generations in the values of peace, justice, collaboration and respect between peoples and individuals.

The Park is an ideal combination of environment, history and memory, thanks to a close connection between the uncontaminated nature, the villages and settlements scattered on the hill and the places of the massacre.
