We go up towards Castello Aghinolfi to take a panoramic road, which must be travelled with caution due to the traffic.
The stage continues to Pietrasanta, 'the little Athens of Italy', adoptive homeland of artists from all over the world. Immediately after Pietrasanta we can visit the ancient Pieve di S. Giovanni, and continue up and down among the Lucca hills to the historic center of Camaiore and the ancient Badia.
Good availability of water, refreshment points in Montignoso, Strettoia and Pietrasanta.
