The Medici Villa of Cerreto Guidi is located in the historic center of Cerreto Guidi, in the province of Florence.

The construction is due to Cosimo I, who intended to use it as a hunting lodge and territorial garrison near the Padule di Fucecchio, on a previous castle of the Guidi counts, between 1564 and 1566.
The Villa, which owes its fame to Isabella de 'Medici, houses an important collection of paintings belonging to the Medici, but also marble sculptures, terracotta, bronzes, majolica, furnishings, tapestries from antiquity to the twentieth century.

Inside it, since 2002, there is the Historical Museum of Hunting and Territory, which displays an interesting collection of weapons, mainly hunting and shooting weapons from the 17th-19th centuries.

Since 2013, the Medici Villa of Cerreto Guidi is included, along with the other Medici Villas and Gardens of Tuscany, in the UNESCO world list.

The Villa, state-owned, is cared for and managed by MIBACT - Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Tuscany museum centre.
