Inside the 'Paolo e Francesca Taverna' Park, a vast green area that extends for about 10 hectares along the course of the southern Lambro river, there is a beautiful place, the flagship of the Municipality of Landriano: The City Farm of Landriano.

The farm is home to many animals including donkeys, ponies, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, numerous species of poultry such as chickens, turkeys, geese, peacocks, ducks and guinea fowl.

It was not born only for recreational purposes, but also for social, educational and training purposes. In fact, immediately within it, many initiatives were born to raise awareness, adults and children, to respect the environment, take care of nature and interact with animals.

Over the years some projects have been activated in collaboration with local preschools, primary, secondary and more.

Landriano represents the third great province of the Taverna heritage.
Being a predominantly agricultural country, the need arose to set up a museum that would talk about its history and origins, which is why the agricultural museum was created.

It is housed in the teaching room of the City Farm, which can be visited during the opening hours of the park. Inside there are collected over 70 objects representative of all that was furniture, equipment and tools for work and daily life of the countryside of the past.

A truly unique and exciting 'journey'. Each tool is in fact accompanied by its description card that explains the function, the name in dialect and the period, which is why the museum can also be visited without a guide.
