The Town Hall was built in 1887 when the Municipal Administration purchased the house of Mr. Antonio Arrigoni to use it as a town hall.
It has undergone many adjustments and restorations.
One of the most important was in 1923 when the facade was plastered and decorations were made to make the aesthetic appearance more pleasant and distinguish the palace from the other buildings in the square.
In 1947 the Municipal Administration decided to further expand the town hall by purchasing the adjacent building, located on the east side and the ground floor of the recently purchased building was used as a post office.
The last restoration of the entire complex dates back to 1983 when the ancient loggias, home to the first aqueduct of Ponte Buggianese, were rebuilt in a modern style, and the façade was entirely whitewashed.
