In front of the entrance to the library you can see a pink and a red bench, to raise awareness among the population on the issues of breast cancer prevention and the fight against violence against women.

The library's book collection consists of approximately 42,000 volumes. Periodicals and newspapers can also be consulted by annual subscription.
There are two distinct sections: the local section, which includes texts related to the Ponte Buggianese area and the Province of Pistoia, and the children and teenagers section which includes numerous texts for the age groups from 0 to 9 years and from 9 to 14 years. In this section you can also find popular texts for children including encyclopedias and school texts.
The library is included in the Documentary Network of the Province of Pistoia.
