The museum is composed of the chapel of San Michele and two exhibition rooms, originally belonging to the Monastery of the Visitation.
The chapel houses various paintings executed between the 17th and 18th centuries, including a beautiful presentation of the Virgin at the Temple and painted and gilded stucco decorations.
Furthermore, one can admire a choir with stalls arranged on three sides, a seat reserved for the Mother Superior, a series of rectangular panels with inscriptions and sacred images interspersed with angels in neo-Gothic style, display cases with precious liturgical vestments, and sacred furnishings of fine workmanship.
