The beautiful ecclesiastical structure is dedicated to the Holy Virgin Mary. It has Romanesque origins but only the left side and the bell tower remain to testify to this. At the base of the tower there is an arch that originally allowed access to a cloister.
In the sixteenth century the church was renovated and an elegant portico was built on the facade and a dome above the presbytery.
Inside there is a Madonna and Child in glazed terracotta from the Robbia school, a painting depicting the Deposition from the Cross, from 1582, by Sebastiano Vini and other paintings from the Florentine school from the end of the 16th century. The church has an organ by Pietro Agosti from 1785, remade by the Troncis in the second half of the 19th century.
