Concerto di Natale nella bellissima cornice della Pieve di San Giovanni Battista.
Verranno proposti, dalla corale 'Amedeo Bassi' brani della tradizione natalizia.

Prima dell'inizio dello spettacolo ci sarà una breve presentazione del volume in via di pubblicazione dal titolo 'Le sette chiese del giovane Leonardo'.

Perhaps one of the oldest churches in Montalbano, this splendid Romanesque church, mentioned for the first time in 998, is located on the road that crosses the hamlet of Sant'Ansano a Vinci and with its imposing gabled façade dominates the surrounding landscape. The interior of the church, divided into three naves by beautifully decorated round arches, preserves the relics of Saint Bonifacio and Saint Ansano and, among other works of art, an altarpiece from the Giotto school (14th century) depicting Sant'Ansano between two angels, attributed to Puccio di Simone.
