The monument was created to remember Massimo Massimi and all the victims of road accidents, both past and future.

The sculpture is by the artist Mauro Vaccai and was created at the behest of the boy's family, who had it made at their own expense so as not to forget the value and sacredness of human life, in the name of Massimo, a victim of the road at just 17 years old, on 23 October 2014, to whom the first memorial was also dedicated.

The square, beautiful and well-kept, is very popular with families and young people who find a green space close to the town centre thanks also to the new installation of children's games.
