The sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo, dedicated to the Madonna del Buon Consiglio for the sacred effigy kept inside, stands within the town.
It was built in 1500 and renovated in the first half of the 19th century, taking on a more modern appearance with a portico on the façade and an interior with three large naves.
The sanctuary features a cycle of frescoes created since 1967 by Pietro Annigoni, thanks to which the building was recognized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage as a sacred monument of great artistic importance.
The work illustrates in succession, scenes and characters from the Holy Scriptures.
In the rooms adjacent to the sacristy there is the parish museum which houses and displays the most prestigious sacred furnishings of the sanctuary.
