The small oratory is nestled among the olive trees along an ancient path where wayfarers who walked along it would stop to pray.
At one time in the territory of the parish of San Baronto there were five oratories: that of the Madonna delle Grazie is the only one remaining of the five.
Restored a few years ago, it was probably built during the 17th century, where previously there was a so-called 'marginina', that is, a sacred shrine (or tabernacle), perhaps dating back to the 14th century, in which an image of the Madonna would have been venerated, at the level of popular religiosity: the so-called Madonna delle Grazie.
