The Art Gallery is located in the ancient Benedictine monastery of San Michele, whose existence has been documented since 1104. Since they took office in 2008, the current management bodies of the Foundation have identified as a priority the preparation of a suitable environment to exhibit all the art treasures that were located in the former Conservatory, including the painting by Fieravante Sansoni da Sorana 'Last Supper' (1625), restored thanks to a contribution from the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pistoia e Pescia.
Through the art gallery you can also access the rooms above the church of San Michele, such as the one containing the 16th-century stained glass window of San Michele defeating the dragon with the patron and the 16th-century wooden choir of the nuns, with a large canvas by Brunetto Ippoliti.
