The beautiful staircase with opposing ramps makes the Pieve di San Lorenzo truly spectacular.
It dates back to 1238 but was remodeled between the 15th and 16th centuries and subsequently restored in the 1960s.
The bell tower is from the Romanesque period, has characteristic mullioned windows and incorporates the remains of a defense tower.
The interior is divided into 3 naves with 4 arches, with a wooden truss ceiling.
The wooden works are beautiful. Among the many, the following stand out: the 17th century choir above the entrance door, the organ built in 1852, both with golden decorations, winged heads and cherubs and floral friezes.
Furthermore, the religious complex has a wonderful pictorial heritage inside, dating back to the period between the 16th and 17th centuries.
