History tells that this building, dating back to the second half of the 16th century, was born following the expansion and covering of a Margine so much so that even today the inhabitants call it: Margine degli Giglio and the small church is dedicated to Santa Maria del Giglio.
Inside you can admire a beautiful fresco depicting the Madonna della neve of the Giotto school.
