It was built in 1925 at the request of the local Association of former World War I combatants. It depicts the Genius of the Fatherland riding with Victory in his hand, followed by the People regenerated by the sacrifice of the Martyrs. The sculptural part of the Monument is made of bronze, while the architectural part is made of travertine.
