The oratory of the Holy Trinity and Corpus Domini is located within the walls of Cerreto Guidi.
Consisting of a small building set between other houses, the Oratory was built in the second half of the 16th century (in 1587) by Giovan Battista Guidi, the trusted astronomer of Francesco I de 'Medici. Following a landslide, the current building was built in 1607 and renovated in 1800.
Inside there are some frescoes made by the Florentine painter Lorenzo Nelli and Francesco Castiglioni depicting 'Christ and the Samaritan woman' and 'Abacuc and the crow'.
However, the most important work is the 1587 painting on the main altar which depicts the 'Mass of San Gragorio' by the famous Tuscan painter Domenico Cresti known as the 'Passignano'.
