A traveling festival that celebrates the encounter between music and video in all its forms. John Cale, Diamanda Galas, Robert Fripp, Carolyn Carlson, Sonic Youth, Stefano Bollani, are just some of the names who have performed in the forty years of the Festival delle Colline ('Festival of the Hills'), which since 1979 has brought the best of world music to the province of Prato. The festival, scheduled for July, involves places of art and culture and enchanting spaces: the Medici Villa of Artimino, Villa Il Cerretino and the Church of Bonistallo in Poggio a Caiano, the Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art. Among the protagonists of the past editions there are big names of independent rock / folk such as J. Mascis of Disnosaur Jr and Ben Ottewell of Gomez, as well as one of the most famous Italian songwriters such as Fabio Concato.

The Ambra cinema-theatre is the reference room in Poggio a Caiano: it represents an ideal space for shows and concerts but also events, conferences, seminars, presentations, screenings, congresses and press conferences. In addition, the theater is equipped with dressing rooms with services, large foyer and a splendid terrace perfect for parties and buffets. Connected to the Circolo Ambra, equipped with a bar and pizzeria on the upper floor, it also offers the possibility of organizing excellent buffets. The hall can be available every day, compatibly with the already planned activities. Availability extends further during periods when the film season is not on (from May to early October).
