San Marco square - Pieve a Nievole (PT) -

The historic center of Pieve a Nievole takes its name from the parish church of San Pietro a Neure, of very ancient origins.
Towards the end of the sixteenth century it began to be called San Marco and only in 1908, the church was allowed to be dedicated to San Pietro.
The beautiful square, where the church stands, has kept the name of the evangelist Mark and it's an undisputed destination for every tourist.
