From the historic center of Cerreto Guidi proceed southwards, leaving the Medici's Villa behind your back on 'via Ildebrandino', continuing to the white road that leads to the bottom of the valley of the Ganghereto district.
It goes up to via di Corliano near Case Quattrini and continuing southwards in the direction of Petriolo, along the street of the same name.
Here you can continue along two paths, one that descends downstream along the bank of the Corliano stream and the other crossroads onto Via di Petriolo until you reach the Valbugiana area.
This paths of Via di Corliano and Via Petriolo are also paths of the Via degli Etruschi and Romea Strata that connect Montealbano to the Via Francigena.
Once you reach Valbugiana, go up into the woods towards Poggio Belvedere from which you can enjoy a beautiful view towards the Petriolo's Farm, Fucecchio and Arno's valley.
Proceed along white roads towards Case Bellavista to then reach the Corliano road, and along the stretch already traveled, you reach the intersection of Via Torribina with Via Matteotti.
Proceeding east to the Sanctuary of Santa Liberata and from there along Via Vittorio Veneto to return to the historic center.
